Pinole Creek Upper Watershed Cleanup

FOPCW and Earth Team joined forces in the Pinole Creek Upper Watershed to work in the pollinator garden and pick up trash along Alhambra Valley Road. One team lugged up a huge mess that was dumped over a hill leading down to the creek and others found trash along the road, including an animal skull! We picked up 47.5 pounds/31 gallons of trash in addition to 5 mattresses and 20 bags from the dump site which EBMUD collected. 25 volunteers made the work a great event! Plus, we planted 18 willow and mulefat trees along the creek!
